From the founder
Katellen exists to make a global impact: learning tools for every child, in every country, where everything they see is real. Hong Kong is where we start. It is not where we stop.
I am one founder building full-time, and I am hiring builders early on purpose. This is an internship where your work ships: what you verify goes onto the map, what you measure changes the product, and your name goes on what we publish. Children will use what you make.
No one arrives knowing how to do all of this — I didn’t either. Much of it has never been built before, and we will figure it out together. That is what an early startup is, and you will absorb how one is really built — the decisions, the funding, the trade-offs — by building, not by being lectured.
What I look for is simple: people who care that it is true. Our tests fail the build if the AI cites a number the data does not support. Holding that line is the culture here, and it is the one thing everyone at Katellen — including you — brings on day one.
I am building this for my own family first — and for every child who will grow up alongside intelligences they did not create.
